How our programs

help support classical music

As Seattle’s oldest musical organization, the Ladies Musical Club’s original mission was to foster an appreciation of classical music in a city just starting to find its identity. 132 years later, we continue working to fulfill this, and have expanded our goals to provide musicians and our cohorts with opportunities for professional growth and showcasing.



Provide new and established musicians with performance opportunities



Bring classical music to children and schools with limited arts budget and exposure



Organize public concerts open to all members of the community



Partner and work with other musical groups and organizations to identify and utilize collaboration prospects



Host educational talks and discussion groups centered around classical music and its history and trajectory
