Founded in 1891 by 22 intrepid women musicians, the Ladies Musical Club is Seattle's oldest musical organization. Our original mission was to foster an appreciation of classical music in the cultural life of a city that was just starting to find its identity.
Over the last 130+ years, we have worked extensively to accomplish our mission. Through a number of programs, concerts, and educational opportunities, see how we have made an impact and expanded the appreciation of classical music.

If you represent an organization or business that would like to donate to the Ladies Musical Club and our mission to expand the reach of classical music, we appreciate your support. To contribute, please email info@lmcseattle.org to discuss options.
Our organization has benefitted from Boeing Gift Matching Program, Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, King County Employees, Mirabella Seattle Resident Association, Okanogan Valley Friends of Music, Seattle Music Teachers Association, Starbucks Partner Match Program, United Way of King County, and many more supportive companies and groups. We appreciate any and all support.
Our board is responsible for leading and directing our organization, and ensures that our plans are inline with growing classical music appreciation in the Pacific Northwest and United States. The Board of Trustees consists of both long-time, established members of our club, and members who have recently joined our ranks. Each position is held for two years and are elected in June. Please find our 2024-2025 board members below.
